Proof of usage fro insurance claim - to include IMEI number

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I have an Iphone 5 which is damaged & I am claiming from my insurance. They have asked for '' Proof of usage for your handset: We require proof from your network that your handset has been used, showing the dates of both first and last use. This documentation will need to contain your IMEI number and details of the last time of use. (Please note, we are unable to accept a phone bill as proof of usage, as this does not document the handset’s unique IMEI reference)''. I've seacrched but can't find this in My O2. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

You'll need to contact cs http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus I guess although your MyO2 does list you phone details including type, model and IMEI number http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Its common for insurance companies to ask for this now, due to the amount of fraudulent claims.
