Proof of Purchase

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I have recently ungraded my phone and updated my insurance to cover the new model. However, it states that if I wanted to make a claim I would need a proof of purchase that includeds the phones IMEI number.

Does anyone know how I can get hold of this as I don't think I recieved one.

Thanks

A copy of your contract or emails sent if done online.
Otherwise if you call customer service they can provide it for you http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

On your iPhone go into Settings, then General, then About and if you scroll down you will see the IMEI number. Then write it down and keep it somewhere safe.

Both the above 2 posts will give the IMEI which is also on the box the phone came in but will not be suitable proof of purchase for the insurance company.
