Be aware you may not get better data connection, or better speeds on 5G, as it all depends on a lot of factors.

You will also need a 5G sim and a 5G handset for a 5G sim, you will need to either call Customer Services on 202 or take photo ID and visit a local o2 store

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Ellis1911 You also need to be in an area enabled for 5G. This will give you a general idea:

O2 Network Coverage Checker | 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G Coverage

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
