Calls not working

I bought my son and daughter pay as you to sims to keep in touch with their friends, my daughters is working fine but my sons will send and recurve messages but won’t make or receive calls - audio or video, Normal or WhatsApp. He has an iPhone 7 - any ideas!? X

Hiya, thanks for the reply! Yes I’ve topped it up, it has £15 on it. I’ve also switched it off and on again and uninstalled and reinstalled WhatsApp. Thanks x

Check in Settings >Mobile data and scroll down to see if data use is allowed for WhatsApp.

Yes it’s switched on for WhatsApp. Calls aren’t working for normal calls or WhatsApp so it seems to be something blocked on the sim? It won’t work through mobile data or WiFi... x

The call appears on the phone but when we answer it it just cuts it off dead. And if we try to make a call it rings ones and then cuts off

Try a different SIM in the phone to see if the issue is with the SIM or phone.

I’ve just checked and the voice record won’t work either - so could be the microphone? But all looks normal
