Hi, About 10 minutes ago I just ordered a pay monthly phone and sim but the thing is I didn't realise I could use my old sim in the phone and I don't know if I can cancel the sim after purchase?

You don't need to cancel. Just pop your current sim in your new phone & pop the other one in a drawer as it comes blank anyway

If you've ordered a new contract and not upgraded you will need to cancel your old contract.

You won't need the PAC as staying with o2 but you will need to call CS to transfer your number to the new contract.
