s9 auto rejecting private numbers but not set to

My samsung s9 is rejecting a private number call that i really need to take . its not set to do it in settings , I have phoned network and there,'s nothing on my sim set to block private number calls either ?????. anyone know ? and i've factory reset my phone already .

"its not set to do it in settings" - does this mean you have checked that the number was not blocked on the handset for some reason, @Thrusty3502?

Only a blanket setting to reject private numbers.

You can't block individual private numbers as there's no number to block.

Yes i checked call settings and unknown / private calls weren't set to be blocked .

You might need to toggle the option on for a while, then toggle it off again to clear it, @Thrusty3502
