if i upgrade my oneplus 5 to a oneplus nord, does the data transfer straight over, ie apps, messages etc ?

or do i have to start all over again.

my partner upgraded his iphone and sat his new one next to the old one and it just synced it all over.

There is an app on the OnePlus called "OnePlus Switch" which does the same as the iPhone app.
