Samsung S4 playback issues

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello, hope someone can help me.

I have noticed recently when using apps such as Netflix and BBC I player, the programmes will play for a couple of minutes (3 minutes at most) then the picture will freeze but the sound will continue. I have tried downloading the programmes to see if it is my wifI connection causing the problems but the same issues occur.

I have updated to lollipop 5.0.1 in the last 6 weeks but I'm sure if this is related. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look in settings >developer options and check if "use nuplayer" is ticked. If it is, untick it.
To get into developer options you need to do this first:
Go to the settings menu, and scroll down to "About phone." Tap it.
Scroll down to the bottom again, where you see "Build number."
Tap on build number 7 times.
