Hello. Hope you're all keeping safe.

I'm missing calls from my doctors. They are being sent as "Unknown" numbers and are going directly to voicemail without ringing. I can't find any settings on my phone to block/unblock them.

Really appreciate any assistance.

@IJ

Could you just turn voicemail off? If you are missing calls from doctors etc.

I know there is something wrong if this is happening on your phone but still. What sort of phone have you got and have you Wifi Calling enabled?

Edited to add, my calls from my GP come up as withheld or unknown....but I don't have Wifi calling enabled so they ring as normal.

In your call settings there is an option to "Block unknown callers"

Check that this is OFF.

Thank you for the suggestions.

I do not have Wifi Calling

The phone is an Honor HRY-LX1

Under:

Settings>Wireless & Networks>Mobile Network>Call Settings>SIM 1 More;

I have "Call Barring". I see nothing there that mentions Blocking Unknown Callers.

Sorry if I've missed something.

Clicking the Phone Icon and then the Three Dots then "Settings" takes me to the same'Sim1 / Sim2' page per above.

The "More" choice under Sim 1 has "Call Barring" as mentioned, but nothing in there anout unknown callers.

'Call Forwarding' is set to:

Always Forward = Disabled

When Busy, When Unanswered & When unreachable all to to telephone number for voicemail.

Turn it on, reboot, turn off and reboot again.

Held Power Button > Restart >Power Off>Power On.

Got my wife to ring from her phone (known caller) and it too went straight to voicemail. Looks like it's bigger than just Unknow Callers!

Appreciate your pointers MI5
