Although a simple search at the top of the page would have avoided yet another thread asking the same question with the same links posted for the umpteenth time. Maybe the search box needs to be bigger or more prominent?

And let's not forget that even links we give, the same information is available on the O2 Support pages. If customers don't look on a big help section then expecting to use the small search box may be expecting too much.

The bigger issue still not addressed is that customers think this is customer service.

To be honest with so many broken links or out of date info on the website, I would far rather provide info from the guides produced by community members.

I posted something at the weekend...available via the forum search engine and google. It was out of date.

Until things are updated on here I will continue to provide links...which we do update regularly.

I'm not saying it's wrong to provide the links, @Cleoriff. I'm just saying that the search box should, if possible, be more prominent, and as @jonsie has said, it should be emphasised more clearly that this is not Customer Service. I'm sure you have lost count of the number of times you've had to write that in a thread, as have I, and @MI5 and @Anonymous and @viridis and the other regular contributors. It just gets tiring. That's all I'm saying.

Most threads are answered with a link or three and it just gets boring copy and pasting the same links time and again. Ah well it keeps us out of mischief...

I agree @Bambino it does get repetitive but the search engine on here is worse than useless so I will just post links. If I don't....someone else will...Smiley Very Happy
