Solved: O2 tethering

Hello I have htc one m8 and contracted, does using tethering come out of my data allowance of 5GB?
I would like to use my 4G to download big files is this an options?

Once you have used up your 5Gb your data will be cut off until the next bill cycle or unless you buy an extra data bolt on.

Hi @Anonymous

Yes tethering does come out of your monthly data allowance.

Due to the content a laptop / tablet uses on an internet page it's very possible your data will be used much more quickly.

Even more quickly if you opt download large files.

I'd suggest you do this over Wifi instead.
