MyO2 app on Android - wrong name

Hi all,

I use the MyO2 app on Android (Google pixel 3a). When I log into the app, it displays a name that isn't mine at the top of the screen. When I click through to my profile, it displays my name and number both correctly.

This has been happening ever since I've used the app as far as I can remember. The incorrect name is of a person I know, but I suspect that's coincidence and that my number/account might have got mixed up somehow?

If anybody can shed any light on why this is happening and whether I should contact customer services to un-mix the names that would be much appreciated. If this issue has been brought up elsewhere apologies, I wasn't able to find it.

Many thanks in advance - from someone new to this community 🙂

You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
