I cant see a way of deleting Microsoft OneDrive from my phone 😞

 

I dont want it because it keeps messing my laptop up when transferring photos and making it run slow i have got rid on laptop slight_smile

 

Can anybody help please ?

 

I have closed it on phone but app keeps appearing in Play Store wanting me to update grr

Unfortunately if you don't see an option to delete it easy, that means it came preinstalled with your telephone software. You can go into the settings > apps and select one drive and disable it from running which also stop system hooks related to it also running,

 

Try restarting your phone afterwards.

 

Also remember Play Store is only aware of what you previosly had installed and not necessarily means you have to update everything,

 

 It also depends on your launcher. You can drag apps to the top of the screen and it prompts you whether you want to uninstall the app too.

Found it could only Disable or Force Stop so i disabled it slight_smile

The restart isn't strictly necessary these days with the cache/memory cleaning tools in Android although Roy's advice from the IT Crowd usually works.

All done spent ages this morning wondering why laptop was acting silly .

 

Worked faster and better since OneDrive gone
