Hi all,
Five years ago I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge from o2 and monthly tariff. This has now ended, the device is fully paid; I have recently upgraded to another phone, yet cannot unlock my old Samsung device from the o2 network.
I have been sent loads of Unlatch codes but other forum posts say the device needs a MCK/defreeze code first. This is a problem that has affected many other users of this model in the same situation too. I want to give the phone to my family to be able to use and they do not use o2 so the device needs to be first unlocked then I can unlatch.
I have seen that in previous threads about this that @Martin-O2 / @LukasB / @jonsie / any o2 community managers have been able to help others with this issue - if anyone could provide advice I would be very grateful.

Have you reached out to o2 via social media at all as they should be able to help with this just send them a message on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
I will also tag @lewys-gp and @RafaC as well as LukasB is no longer here, as they may be able to help as well.
