Lollipop Version?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Saw a friend's Galaxy S5 and his android version said 5.1. According to Wiki, the latest version out is 5.1.1.

This is mine...

Checked for updates, and said no new updates are available.

Is something wrong?

5.1.1 is for Nexus devices.
Manufacturers will release their own software but it will all be a different version.
S5 is on 5.0, Note 4 is on 5.01 etc

5.1.1 is rolling out at first to Nexus devices, but hasn't begun its OTA rollout to any as yet. I'm not sure if Samsung phones will even get it.

Apart from the lockscreen as mentioned in another thread there's not much else changed visually so I wouldn't rush into anything just yet mate wink

Do you find an improvement with lollipop or any benefits. I'm really not wanting to risk it at this stage. ...
