I was moved to O2 from Virgin and I want to uninstall the virgin apps. Is there a way to do this / is O2 going to release a removal tool? I obviously don't want to root my device.

Settings >Apps and delete any you don't want.

O2 will not be releasing any removal tools.

If you have any embedded into the firmware (doubtful) you'll just have to hide them.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
