Answered here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly/No-access-to-Inmarsat-phone-870/m-p/1710438#M273782

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@SunmistCMJ You have asked 3 times. Have you checked the value of your spend cap as suggested?

Other than that, as there are only customers here,you will need to contact O2 by one of the methods in the guide.

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

There will be a bar on calling premium numbers, usually standard on PAYG

Only customer service can help

Thanks, but was with the bolt on and if you look down the lists for sat phone, it says N/A? I was just hoping that someone else had experienced this problem. It does tell you the rates for sat phones but only for the non global network such as Inmarsat. Thanks for trying

@SunmistCMJ

There are 3 different Sat Phone providers, and it depends if the network you are calling is QUV or not, also not all Sat Phones accept Phone calls, have you tried texting the number ??

We have a couple of sat phones in our fleet, think they are on Iridium though, and we pay to make and receive calls to them..

You are going to have to call o2 and work out what designation they come under..
