I’ve just received 2 different calls from this number: +44 20 3873 1813 asking for the code for me to have a discount on my pay monthly!!
I was almost invested until I she (she sounds like an Indian lady) said I need to give her the pass code!! But the PC explicitly stated that you don’t give the code to EVEN STAFF! That’s when I remembered that we normally type the code in and don’t say them out loud!!! My spider signals started ringing!! I told her she should send me an email she said, it’s a one off offer and she can’t send email. Her: “You are paying way too much at the moment. How much do you pay? Your name and details shows you’ve been with O2 for a long time and you are now eligible for discount. Your monthly payment will be reduced to £7:50.”

Me: “If you are from O2 you should know how much I pay”

Her: “I can only get your details once you give me the code ma am. Give me the code that has just been sent to you”

Me: “The code explicitly states that you should NOT give the code to ANYONE. If you are truly from O2, you should know this, that we normally type it in!”

Her: “Ma am, I am from O2, it is I who sen you the code, tell me the code and I will get your payment discount”

I kept repeating that the code says Not to give the code to an O2 staff! Eventually she dropped!

It’s hard to know that it’s a Scam because the call seems to come from O2 (the text message anyway) except that all my prev O2 text messages still have a tread of all the last messages they’ve sent!!

ppl pls be careful!!
