Hi Everyone,

This is my first post in this community, I live in the Kings Cross/Islington area of London and have been given a PAYG O2 Databank SIM card scheme and do not know of any Databank locations where I can obtain the complimentary data that is on offer. Does anybody have any ideas on where I can get this problem resolved

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Thanks,

I did check the https://www.o2.co.uk/national-databank link but when I enter my postcode to find the nearest databank nothing comes up in the search results.

regards

Mike

I have just searched on the postcode of The British Library as potentially being in your vicinity :-

Hi fellow community members,

Unfortunately the answers provided have not solved the problem as I am still with no credit/data as the places listed are Wifi hotspots and not showing up as a databank, does any body know of an actual databank as opposed to a Wifi hotspot located within any of the London postcode areas prefixed  N, NW, S, SW, E, EC, W, WC?

Many thanks

In spite of the article below, I think this is mainly a PR exercise with the availability probably in reality only about 1% of what is advertised. An assistant in the O2 store on Camden High Street which I went to on Monday 11/12/2023 after being directed there by a librarian in Camden Library, told me she knew nothing about this and gave me a phone to ring O2 customer service who had me on hold for 73 minutes and when a different operator called James took over I gave him my details and he promised to ring me with a resolution the following morning as the staff wanted me out of the store as they needed to close up.I have not heard anything since and all other efforts have been in vain, it may be best if you fellow community members ignore my original post as I do not want you to waste your time as well.

Try a different store, or have a look at this page here from the people who actually run the charity.

I know this works as a charity I know of refers people to the stores here in South Yorkshire
