I pay via Direct Debit and all payments fine, I received a text from O2 saying my bill was overdue, I paid via debit card immediately.

I contacted my bank to ask why the direct debit was not paid and they said its due tomorrow (Monday) and will be paid.

If we are going to get Virgin mistakes then I'm off because I moved from Virgin mobile to O2 lol. I just hope my credit file will be OK.

Just so you know the Direct Debit will still come out tomorrow, so you will be double billed.

I have seen this with other services (usually was Bulb) where the DD date falls on a weekend and it sends out messages saying its late pay now, so always better to wait for the DD to come out before paying...

In 13years or so never had it with o2...

Lots of scam texts going around regarding payment demands.

Check you actually paid O2 and check with your bank there are no dodgy payments going out.

If you followed any links from a fake text you should change your passwords immediately and notify O2.
