Thanks MI5, I understand that none of us can give the official O2 line on things. Sadly I've spoken to O2 and it appears that the 'official line' is: "Hi . Our technical teams are aware and are working to complete your request as quickly as possible....

Apparently you may well have to wait until Friday for the issue to be sorted. If you are within your 14-day cooling-off period, you might want to consider exercising your right to cancel without penalty.
