I tried to reply to a text from a republic of Ireland number today and I'm getting the following message: Can't send message with sim1 - error 8I last sent a text there in May and had no issues.Can anyone with this please?

I don't need anyone to access my account. I was just wondering how o2 have the front to try to charge such a large amount for a sim only deal.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm not aware of a spend cap. I thought I just had a standard monthly contract. As I said I sent texts in May with the same phone/contract without any problem.I'm guessing that something has changed with o2 since I last sent...
