From £750 to £1500 for a phone I think Apple are taking the Michael and it’s obscene..

think my iPhone X will be the last iPhone I have as I’m not paying that much for a phone....

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Especially when UK is paying 30% more than USA
USA pay $1099...
UK cost equivalent $1434

Your working the FX the wrong way round, $1099 is £842 using XE. Add VAT to £842 and you get £1,010. Then remember that banks don’t give you mid-market, but a marginalised rate and you’ll find that ££1,099 isn’t that far away.

I think you you need to check this first regarding the Dual sim use on the IPhone.

@AngryWarlock

Just to make you aware before everyone starts getting carried away.

Dual Sim is only supported by EE for the esim and not Vodafone U.K.

Also Dual sim isn’t available straight away, this will be activated later this year with a software update.

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT209044

Also so before people start thinking that Dual Sim will be available if you buy from carriers.

E sim can be disabled by carriers when you purchase a iPhone from them.

note that the esim facility on the iPads is disabled by o2in the U.K.
