That is more to do with Apple, not really wanting to do business with carriers, as they would prefer all customers bought direct from them...
But also o2 will be under contract restrictions from Apple as no other network has released prices yet..
Remember you will need to pay the deposit (most stores do this). if pre-ordering the iPhone, but 1pm Friday is the date and time of release.

@madasaf1sh Apple have released pricing, all carriers follow the same pre order and release as Apple do with the phones so you’d suspect they’d do it with the watches

@Enlli there could well be, I’m also aware that they keep us all in the dark and certainly have done over the years.
We can share the darkness together.
Just for info and context... Until after the keynote, we legitimately do not know what Apple have planned. Prior to the keynote we listen to trusted industry insiders and follow the rumours and we've usually got a good idea of what to expect, but it's not until during the Apple Event that we find out for sure.
For the new watches, something to bear in mind is that Apple themselves know what they're announcing weeks/months in advance, and can plan updates to their websites/shops to go live right after the event. For carriers however, what you need to understand is that until that moment, when Apple announce it to the world, we don't know - and when you consider we then need to await Apple updating us and other carriers worldwide, as well as sharing official assets with us, perhaps then you can begin to understand why we - and others - don't currently have these new watches online at this current time when Apple do.
Our team are all over it however and working to get these online ASAP. As soon as they're available to order, we'll update our original post with links and add a comment here to this Megathread. Until then, I'm afraid I have no ETA - it could be later today, tomorrow, or later.

All good, order placed for the ultra 2 watch with a delivery timeframe of up to 2 weeks, no launch day delivery unfortunately assume that’s because you don’t expect the stock until launch day. All the series 9 and ultra 2 models have a delivery timeframe up to 2 weeks (at time of writing this)
