Call the store is the best option, as some have said deliveries to some stores have been delayed, No one on this community will know anything else.

What a joke. Got my new phone but theirs no packaging to send my old phone back to complete the switch up. Customer service also have no clue as what to do either.

Pre-ordered ‘reserved’ mine in store as a Switch-up. I got there at 13:05, paid deposit and was hit by 13:07. Was told within 14 days from pre-orders opening.
Felt like I might be at the top of the list as I’d got in earlier, not many people were in the store (we’re a faintly suburban town). Called the store earlier and they told me mine hadn’t come in yet which is disappointing, ordered my case, screen and lens protectors yesterday from Prime.
Hopefully mine will come in over the next week or so!
Ordered a 14 Pro Max 512 in Natural Titanium.

Still waiting for my pre order to land at the Coventry Ricoh store. Phoned the store to see what’s going on and was told by a rather snotty woman that I need to be patient. Great customer service there!

Got mine at about 8:30 this morning thanks to DPD being on it. I paid off my old device plan and started fresh.
Wife did hers using Switch Up. Went into the store an hour or so ago and did everything in no time at all. Impressed with how easy it all was.

The home delivery process has been absolutely horrendous. Got my new phone this morning and there was no packaging to send my old phone back. Customer service say it was done as a normal upgrade despite my paperwork saying it was a switch up. Apparently if I don’t return my old phone I get charged £906. But I have no way to return my phone currently. Apparently worst case I have to return my new phone

This is why SwitchUp's should only be done in store...
Your only option is to ask o2 for a Returns label and send it back using that, it might be worth speaking to Sales rather than CS, as they might have a better idea.

I've a feeling we're going to see a lot of "I got charged £1000" posts soon because of this flaw in the switch up process...!
I hope to be proven wrong.
