Just as a data point, ordered my iPhone Pro Max 1TB in Purple on 24th November and it is out for delivery today. Just under the 2 week wait indicated when I placed my order.

Generally speaking, after you submit an order you won't tend to receive any further update until your order has been processed for delivery, which is normally the day or evening beforehand.
So eg, you order something a few weeks ago, we receive stock today where your order has been allocated to one of the devices, it then gets scanned and processed at our warehouse which then automates an email/sms order update to be sent to you.
For those still waiting and it's now outside of your estimated delivery timescale, we're really sorry but unfortunately it's out of our control and due to the ongoing global delivery constraints as highlighted here on 21 Nov. We do hope you're not waiting too long though and it arrives soon, hopefully before Christmas.

Order placed for iPhone 14 pro max in deep purple on the 12th November and still nothing. I can understand a global demand shortage but what I can’t understand is why people ordering after this date are receiving theirs?
