I’ve just called apparently all they have is the 11” 64GB in both colours.

I don’t really believe anything o2 are saying at this point if I’m honest. They are a communication company and lack any communication skills.

Anyone else notices not all USB-C cables work with the iPad for charging?

using my MacBook 29w usb charger with a bell in USB-C cable (only as these are left in the office for charging at work) iPad dose not recognise. 12” MacBook works fine.

just a heads up.

Just spoken to O2 “thinking of leaving us” department.  She was unbelievably rude.

Could go into details but what’s the point?

O2 clearly don’t believe in customer services.

just going to cancel my order which apparently I can do by email only.  Can’t even complain by phone, only by email.

O2 like to keep their customers at arms length don’t they?

was going to move all my existing Vodafone contracts over too....glad I didn’t now.

Like I said in a previous post, this is all starting to sound very familiar. Few years ago ordered the old iPad Pro 12.9, and went through the same thing, “4weeks”, “6 weeks”, “we have stick coming next week”, etc etc. Then out of the blue after about 16 weeks came an email telling me my order had been cancelled.

I wonder how much O2 have in deposits for iPads they dont have, and cant give a definitive delivery date on.

If I set up a company to sell something I didnt have, and didnt know when I was getting it, I would be charged with fraud, but its just business as usual with O2.

...............

If i had a fantastic credit rating i would have gone to apple and via the finance route but had to stay with o2 as couldnt get accepted anywhere else. I would suggest unhappy people go elsewhere and get an ipad straight away

Ok, just spoke to O2 Customer Ignoring Department.

Was told "I can see you ordered on the 2nd November.  Its still showing as no stock.  If you dont hear anything in 6 weeks your order will be cancelled and you can reorder"

Really????

If this was any other company BBC Watchdog would be all over them.

I have 5 contracts with O2, im going to let them run down and go somewhere else.

Shocking customer service.

This is what is worrying me.

I've kept my order for now, but if they can't fulfill it in six weeks will they cancel my order as said above?  If so, would I be able to reorder or would I be refused?

I don't know.  There should just be more dialogue.  More communication.  It should at least be "do you want to keep your order" rather than just cancelling it.  I notice that the O2 representative @Chris_K is also now conspicuous by his absence.......

Quick to try and sell the product at first but when issues arise he just goes quiet.

It's sad when people like certain posters in this thread are only staying with O2 because they can't go anywhere else - not because they want to be here because of good customer service.

What really frustrates me is they are still taking orders for devices they know they cant fulfill and cant communicate to existing customers when their order will be fulfilled.

Out of sheer decency why not suspend any new orders untill they get their house in order and can meet their existing demand.

Continuing to take deposits is very very poor.
