On Tuesday 30 October, Apple held a special event in which they announced new Macbook's & Mac Mini's. They also unveiled two brand new iPad's which are their best ones yet, and which mark the biggest change to iPad since, well, iPad.
The new iPad Pro's will be available to pre-order on O2 from this Friday, 2 November, on the links below.

I ordered friday afternoon of order week, 12.1 inch space grey. I wasn’t going to preorder at all but then decided I would do, pass my existing contract 10.5 pro down to my partner and her iPad Air 2 to my 2.5 year old.
I got the 4+ weeks weight and then the bad news email. I contacted chat yesterday and they advised that the manufacturer had not been able to send them everything they had asked for and that they could not predict when it might arrive.
However, I suspect that is a cut and paste response as it kept mentioning the “phone” and the “manufacturer”. I’m reasonably new to preordering on O2 so do people think it will be four weeks plus, or do people think that actually they are hedging their bets.
I know that Vodafone are having supply issue with Apple Watch series 4 - go to apple store and get it straight away but go to Vodafone and wait a month so I wonder if Apple are throttling supply to the telcos to prioritise their stock.

So is it 4 weeks + wait time for pre-ordered? I think I would be quite dissapointed if I pre-ordered a new game for PlayStation, only to be told it's not ready yet, you need to wait. Fingers crossed here before Christmas time.
It depends on when you pre-ordered and what the delivery message was that was quoted to you, but the iPad Pro's did quickly go onto back-order soon after pre-order launched so if your iPad isn't due to arrive today, it's likely you may have a wait of a few weeks - but we'll update you as and when there's progress with your order.
I feel it's worth highlighting that the iPad Pro is experiencing a huge demand with even Apple themselves quoting multi-week waits for most variants they sell, so it's not just O2 customers that are experiencing a delay with their pre-orders I'm afraid. The delivery timescales we quote are worst case scenarios so hopefully we can fulfil yours and others orders sooner, depending on stock.

To all those waiting, at least you got a chance to pre-order. Business customers have been given nothing yet 😡

Damn, didn’t realise sky had stock. Have an account with them, so went over there to order but got declined on the credit check. Can only assume the O2 loan is sitting on my credit file for this current iPad and that’s the reason.
oh well, will have to wait....
