Hi everyone! 

Thanks for joining the O2 Community! (Or if you haven't yet but would like to, you can register here!). I'm very happy to welcome you here. The O2 Community is a great place to get help and advice on O2 products and services, provide feedback and suggestions for the network, and have general chit chat.

My name's Martin, one of the Community Managers here on the O2 forum. I work with @lewys-gp and @RafaC who are also part of the Community team. Personally, I've been working on communities for the last 8 years and have been with O2 since February 2016! 

This thread is all about introducing yourself to the Community and we'd love to hear a bit more about you! Things like:

Welcome @Cellular_Data. I'm sure you're not a 'boring sod' really. You list your interests as computers and mobiles, embedded devices and routers. Is this your job as well as a private interest?

Also, you have the 512gb S10+. How are you finding it and was there a specific reason you went for the 512gb S10+ as opposed to the 128gb S10+ which is what I have. Was it more power you were after or the additional storage?

No it isn't my job.

Although I did study networks. It's not something i pursued in within a career.

I made the decision to get the 512GB model due to the ceramic finish i thought it would be a better option to getting a more "Pure" colour rather than a prism, also i'm hardly going to run out of storage with 512GB

Don't get me wrong the 1TB model looked great but I didn't fancy re-mortgaging my house for a phone.

No you definitely won't run out of storage with 512gb @Cellular_Data unless you take an awful lot of photos :joy

I didn't have the patience to wait for the 512gb to become available and, even though I download lots of games, I thought the 128gb was more than enough for me. And my S8+ was on its way out so needed a new phone soon.

I agree about the 1TB phone and the same applies even more so for the fold phone with an absolutely staggering price of £1,800!. There's expensive and absolutely ridiculous.

My S10+ 128gb phone is expensive but worth it I feel based on how I'll use it. Not having a PC or laptop, my phone is my PC and is used as one. So I need a hard working/lasting phone and was prepared to pay for it. And, more importantly, did my sums and knew I could afford it.
