Thanks for joining the O2 Community! (Or if you haven't yet but would like to, you can register here!). I'm very happy to welcome you here. The O2 Community is a great place to get help and advice on O2 products and services, provide feedback and suggestions for the network, and have general chit chat. :slight_smile:

 

My name's Martin, one of the Community Managers here on the O2 forum. I work with @lewys-gp and @RafaC who are also part of the Community team. Personally, I've been working on communities for the last 8 years and have been with O2 since February 2016! 

 

This thread is all about introducing yourself to the Community and we'd love to hear a bit more about you! Things like: 

 

  • Pay monthly, Pay as you Go or Business Customer? 
  • What phone you currently have? 
  • Hobbies and interests? 
  • Random or cool facts about you?

If you are a business user @CC7 then you should really be on a business contract.

As highlighted by @pgn in his post in this thread , to get VAT bills you need to get in touch with customer services...

If calling them on 202 or 0344 809 0202 is not convenient (or 0800 032 1402 which can be called for free, or using Skype - Guide: A Guide to Skype) then you can use social media to message them:

@Mi-Amigo  runs quizzes 2/3 times a week. We also have threads on Football, TV shows, a Naughty Step, Formula 1 and loads of other fun stuff...As well as a Virtual lounge where you can pop in for a chat, a virtual drink and talk about anything (except mobile phones) Lol x.

Plenty of things to look at informally so-to-speak in the Off Topic Section

The Virtual Lounge is where anything goes ... = .... just not IT stuff lolz 

There are a lot of helpful highly knowledgeable people here on the O2Community who give of their time and knowledge freely.

Do not be afraid to ask a question on any of the  technical boards. I have been on the forum for nearly 10 years and though a 'Permanent Tech Novice' as IT is progreessing sooo rapidly. By asking a question and obtaining an answer, where you can give kudos for, you will be helping others with a similar 'problem'

Just seen this post of yours @jonsie on 24 11 2024 Message 3041 about distress caused by Customer Services. I do know you worked for them before O2 CS was outsourced. 

Just been on to them and 3 times I got the robotic same wrong answer. I closed the call as my blood pressure was rising.
