Hi guys,
Those of you who use TU Go may soon see some changes to the app's branding name and the look of some pages in the near future.
This is because the app is enjoyed around other parts the world as well as in the UK, where it has been known as simply TU for a while now in certain areas.
This wont change how the app works in terms of functionality and charges, but you may see a cosmetic change :).

Hi @MI5,
We'll continue to share everything we see here on the community with the TU Go team so that improvements can be made :).

HI @Bambino,
What specific issue are you seeing? Or are you referring to things you have observed here on the community?

Isn't TU a brand already? I'm sure I see it in Sainsbury's alot...

Hi @Toby
I'm referring to the debacle on the forum over the past weekend with all the threads of people complaining that they couldn't receive texts with their new or upgraded sim. The answer seemed to be to uninstall and delete TuGo, as this was causing the issue for most.
@Anonymous You are absolutely correct. I see another name change coming along very soon. Looks as if O2's marketing department didn't do their research very well. Maybe they can change the name of the app to OOPS!

Hi @Bambino,
I've been posting updates this morning on some TU threads about certain issues. Thanks for flagging it but its a separate issue. Some need to be looked at individually.

Hi @Toby
I was referring to @MI5's post of the lack of functionality of the app. You can call the app whatever you like, but it's no good to anyone if it doesn't work, and as Sainsbury's already use the name, I doubt that O2 will be calling the app TU for long. Might very well be a copyright issue, and I think you'd have to agree that O2 didn't get there first.

Hi @Bambino,
The app does work for most members though, so the team can (and should) continue to work on other aspects. Also, separate teams work on the app itself and its surrounding marketing and branding internationally.
With regards to the TU brand, the products/services are entirely separate and do not conflict in that way. This makes a difference to how names can be used.
