Hi guys,
Some of you may remember our recent discussion about the new 'Product Mentions' feature on the community. Well, the community team would love to see it being used more and more where you guys think it is relevant to do so.
For those who are not aware, you can 'mention' a product by using hashtag and then typing in the device name (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S6 or Sony SmartWatch 3) and this link will take any members interested in that device to the right page on the O2 site, helping them to navigate more easily
Ideal places to use Product Mentions are:
- When you write a great device review
- If you want to recommend a device you think is great
- If a member needs to see tariffs or prices for a specific device
So, are you using the feature? Let us know what you think!
I'd really appreciate any feedback
As some of you mentioned in our previous discussion, the feature does not work from Windows devices and we have confirmed this with our platform provider. They have however asked us for any feedback on this aspect, so if you have strong views on this, please make your voice heard! I will be seeking an update on this regularly from them too.
Below is a screenshot of what you'll see when using the 'Product Mentions' feature:
So, give it a go!

Sounds great, but as the norm, new features take time to him windows #lumia950... See, didn't work hahaha
Haha!
I admire you for trying anyway @Curr946
As I say, I'll be passionately requesting for this to become a reality on Windows devices too.

Yeah, still not working on WP devices.
It has not been implemented by Lithium yet from Windows devices unfortunately @MI5, If you or others use Android devices at any time, the function will work then
