O2 World Chat New app release

Hi guys,

 

We’re updating O2 World Chat with a new app release and whilst this is primarily a bug fix update, O2 is also introducing a couple of new features:

 

  1. We’re adding in a Member get Member system into the settings part of the app.  This feature gives users the ability to share the app with their contacts via Facebook, Twitter, SMS or email and encourages them to download the app.
  2. A new welcome journey for first time users which explains how customers can use the app.

 

What does this mean for our customers?

  1. Customers can spread the word about the app and give their friends and family a direct link to make this as easy as possible.
  2. First time users have a clear set of user instructions up front.

 

What do I need to do?

Please familiarise yourself with the changes so you can help other users who have any queries.

 

If other customers are unsure how to share the app with their friends, this feature can be found in the settings link within the ‘More’ tab on the app.

 

If they want to know how to use the app, let them know about the welcome journey which they’ll see the first time they register for the app.  Alternatively, they can also watch this tour again in the ‘Get Tour’ link within the ‘More’ tab.

Well there is that though as O2 sell windows phone you would think they might show a little interest....

You don't remember how long it took to get tugo on windows, which still doesn't work btw.....?
