Hi guys,
We’re updating O2 World Chat with a new app release and whilst this is primarily a bug fix update, O2 is also introducing a couple of new features:
What does this mean for our customers?
What do I need to do?
Please familiarise yourself with the changes so you can help other users who have any queries.
If other customers are unsure how to share the app with their friends, this feature can be found in the settings link within the ‘More’ tab on the app.
If they want to know how to use the app, let them know about the welcome journey which they’ll see the first time they register for the app. Alternatively, they can also watch this tour again in the ‘Get Tour’ link within the ‘More’ tab.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

I got the update yesterday . This is an app I use everyday and is one of the better apps for me. Far better than the International tariff. I've already recommended it both to family and on various threads here on the community.

Unfortunately this app is one of the least publicised and advertised. It just works perfectly for cheap international calls.

Not sure why because it works through a proxy number via the phones native dialler?
