Hey Guys,
We’re proud to announce that O2 Wifi will be installed across Canary Wharf by the end of summer 2013!
This move will see more than 1.2 million perspective users on O2 Wifi in this area alone every week.
We’ve been passionate about delivering best in the class digital experiences and this announcement with one of the world’s premier business and shopping districts will see us do that once more with free WiFi delivered to this fantastic area.
The service will benefit the 100,000-strong business community at Canary Wharf, four shopping centres housing over 240 cafes, shops, bars and restaurants and the 20 acres of outdoor parks and plazas.
Gavin Franks, Managing Director for O2 Wifi said: “This ground-breaking deal builds on the successful deployment of wifi across central London and will see us deliver high-quality, free connectivity to the UK’s busiest business district.”

The O2 Wi-fi app doesn't use one, it only advises where the hotspots are and you can connect without it.

Maybe it does when in range, in that case I've no idea why you can't connect sorry, but you can connect without it as I do.
