Shared data plans are now here!

We've seen several people here on the community ask about it and we know from our other social media channels like Twitter & Facebook, that there customers who would love to be able to share their data allowances across multiple O2 SIM's, phones or tablets. Well now, you can!

With data allowances from 1GB up to 20GB, and with the ability to share data with up to 10 devices, you can customise your sharer plans to suit your family.

How can I get it?
To get a sharer plan, you’ll need a phone or tablet on an O2 Refresh tariff with 1GB or more of data. This will be your lead device. It doesn’t have to be on a new contract – just give us a call or come and see us in store to share your current data allowance. You'll soon be able to do this online via My O2 too - we'll let you know when.

Once you’ve got your lead device, you can then add up to nine other phones, tablets or sims to share its data allowance. If you already have additional devices that you want to add to a sharer plan, you can add them as soon as they’re out of contract.

To find out more, speak to an advisor in your local O2 store.

You can find out more here including how the sharer plans work and how best to manage your data > http://www.o2.co.uk/sharer-plans

It will be. I am fed up with o2 promising the earth and delivering very little.

If I keep my Note 3 I might ask Rich to assist me to flash it to stock Android and get rid of o2 bloatware.

So I've waited to upgraded till today too upgrade just rang up and been told a totally different story on the sharer plan grrrr. So I have to take out another refresh tariff so what benefit do u get from sharing rubbish. I took out the 8gb plan to share over the two phones as we only currently use about 4 gb a month though this would be more than enough. But to take another refresh tariff it isn't going to save me anything bad call o2

Right rang through to disconnections and hey presto 5 min chat and all sorted. Why does the upgrade and dedicated sharer plan number team don't have a clue on the sharer plans and disconnections does. Sort it out O2. If it wasn't for my family bolt on I have I would have gone else where.

Good to hear you are all sorted but worrying that yet again o2 couldn't suet things out in the first call.

If they were able to solve things on first call maybe the waiting times would be reduced.

Great result for you though. 😆😆
