I wonder if there is anything in the Terms and Conditions that relates to how O2 can enforce a contract when it has been sold.

o2 can do what they want as long as your terms are not affected

12.2 We may assign your contract or any Service we provide to you on the same terms to any third party. You may not assign this contract or the benefit of any Service we provide to you unless we agree in writing.

 

Third party sky buying the consumers from o2!

This is a real shame, I have always found O2 customer service to be excellent, Sky's is poor.

There is nothing to give a chance to. I would rather be flayed on the streets than give a penny to Sky.

I have been with o2 for over 3 years now and is one of the best isps i have been with.

got mobile phone and broadband at the same time because of the discount

landline is with BT and dont want landline with sky.

so why is there no mention about mobile discount and if you dont have o2 landline

Well it is frustrating to have questions that aren't answered in the FAQ but on the other hand we have been told, and it's still subject to regulatory approval.

 

I had just started to look at fibre broadband and was wondering why O2 was not offering anything. I may have moved in a few weeks once I'd reviewed the offerings (PlusNet were looking promising!).

 

However, we'll be on the same network, contract and customer service for a few weeks or even months so best not to do anything hasty.
