Personalised letter from Santa

Hi everyone,

You might remember from earlier this year, we had some general discussions around what types of charities you guys support and have supported in the past. It was lovely to see such a long list of different charities in the topic!

Do you support any charities during Christmas time as well? smiling December 3rd is Giving Tuesday, an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season.

Our partners at NSPCC have organised a wonderful idea of how we can help bring the magic of Christmas home to the children who need it the most! See more info below on how you can support this initiative. cool

Personalised letter from Santa

Build your little ones a personalised Letter from Santa to help them feel excited for the big day, and feel good doing your part to support children this Christmas with a £5 suggested donation.

You can choose from 8 new illustrations for different ages and interests, such as ‘Reindeer Flying Practice’, ‘Christmas Disco’ and ‘Elves are Ready to Go!’. Tailor with your child's name, age, hobbies and a personal message for a magical start to Christmas. The letters are available in English and Welsh.

How will your donations help?

  • £5 could buy paints to help a child who has been abused to express their feelings and begin to feel like themselves again.
  • £8 could cover the cost for NSPCC volunteer counsellors to answer 2 calls to Childline. On average, a child contacts Childline every 25 seconds - you can help the charity be there at Christmas and all year round.
  • £10 could help with answering two calls to the NSPCC helpline from adults worried about a child.

There's more information about this on the NSPCC website, and see here for some helpful FAQs as well. slight_smile
