Kick-start your Christmas shopping this Black Friday with O2

Hi folks,

With the Christmas season soon approaching, many of us like to get presents and gifts well in advance. If you’re like me we have great news! This year O2's Black friday sale includes price crashes and great deals that will make your 2015 Christmas shopping cheaper and easier than ever before.

O2 is inviting customers to choose their price for more than 70 top products this Friday, giving them the chance to get high end products like the Samsung Galaxy S6 for a pound or even less. O2 is also discounting a huge selection of phones, tablets, smartwatches, fitness bands and other accessories as part of its Black Friday sale.

Crashing prices

O2’s Price Crash, live throughout Friday 27 November at http://www.o2.co.uk/pricecrash, will give customers the chance to get their hands on a plethora of mobile technology at a price they choose. Throughout the day, new items will be added to Price Crash and their prices will start tumbling. Once the price reaches a level a customer wants to pay, they can stop the crash and buy the item immediately. With no reserve prices in place, prices for top tech like the HTC One M9 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 could drop all the way down to £1, with most items even qualifying for free delivery.

Other sale savings

As well the O2 Price Crash, O2 is also offering savings of up to 50% on a range of phones, tablets, smartwatches, fitness bands and other accessories in their Black Friday sale: http://www.o2.co.uk/black-friday-cyber-monday. Included in the sale is the Ultimate Ears Boom at £84.99 – half price – while the HTC M9 is available with £120 off.

O2’s Black Friday sale starts at 9pm on Thursday 26 November.

The thing is some people did get notification? I am sure we had a poster over the weekend who had a text with an attachment from O2. @viridis showed us it was the advert for the Black Friday promo restarting...?? I can't look for the text now but I know he posted it....(or something of that nature)

No, the texts with videos were going out all last week, as far as I can see, the black Friday price crash auction has still not restarted or been mentioned by twitter (from what I've seen).
I think it's been chalked off as a DOA which is a shame but that's how some things go. Could it have been better prepared? Yes. But live and learn innit.

Hi guys,

We're sorry for all of the issues with the Black Friday deals. We had to roll back our plans due to technical issues. I knows this was frustrating for some and any feedback is more than welcome. There are still some great deals to be had however, if you head to http://www.o2.co.uk/black-friday-cyber-monday#blackfriday
