Hey everyone,
The new Huawei P40 Pro 5G is now available on O2! This 5G ready device comes with a great camera, a edgeless screen and many more great features, check out the details below!
Please note: The P40 Pro 5G doesn’t support Google apps and services, like Google Play Store. It runs on Android 10 and EMUI 10.1, with lots of apps available in the Huawei AppGallery. Find out more.
Visionary photography
Powered by Leica, the P40 Pro 5G’s Quad Camera system is in a league of its own. The flagship 50MP Ultra Vision camera takes astonishing photos during day or night, and the 40MP Ultra Wide Cine Camera puts you in a Hollywood director’s seat. Zoom up to 50x with remarkable clarity using the 12MP SuperSensing zoom lens. And, thanks to Optical Image Stabilisation and AI, you can do it all without worrying about having a steady hand.
Beauty without borders
If you’re looking for an immersive experience, the 6.58-inch Quadcurve Overflow display is the one for you. It spills over all four edges of the device, so you feel like you’re holding nothing but screen. And it has a 90Hz refresh rate so it’ll scroll, swipe and tap as smoothly as it looks.
Big battery, powerful processor
When it comes to raw power, the P40 Pro 5G has plenty. Running on the latest Kirin 990 processor and 8GB of RAM, it’s built to perform. It’ll do it all day, too, thanks to a 4200mAh battery with Wireless SuperCharge to power up in no time, and reverse charging to share its wealth of power with other wireless charge devices.
Making life easier
Moving to the P40 Pro 5G is a piece of cake, thanks to Huawei’s new suite of tools designed to help you find apps and content. Phone Clone will transfer your existing apps, photos, contacts and other data from your old phone to your P40 Pro 5G. AppGallery is the official platform developed by Huawei. Search and download your favourite apps. Petal Search - Find Apps is a new search tool that will help you to easily find your favourite apps, news, images and more - directly from your home screen. Available to download on Huawei AppGallery.
Ready for the 5th Generation

Android OSP, and whatever open-source version of GMS, yea, messy.
What about secure banking apps, that generate a key for securing the connection to your bank's servers? That was the one thing that drove me off my HTC One mini - banking apps would not run on the earlier, older versions of Android.
Fiddling and sideloading is frowned upon by the secure app developers and by Google Play Services, unsurprisingly. And not guaranteed to work...
