Hello Everyone,
As mentioned briefly in the past, we’re looking to upgrade our forum platform in the coming months. We’re making some huge investments to improve our forum and enhance the forum community. I’m happy to say that the project is progressing smoothly, we’re also taking into consideration the feedback many of you have been giving us like the recent spam issues.
I’m very excited about the facelift and anticipate a similar reaction from all of you. There’ll be lots of fun activities with the forum revamp but we’ll remain focused on the key element – ‘how to make our forum a better place to help each other with any query related to O2 products & services.’
I’ll share more information as soon as I get them, until that watch the space guys! slight_smile
Any feedback or suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks
Abs

I wonder how they chose who to invite to the preview. I didn't get one, but then I never seem to get invited to anything slight_smile

Terrible injustice there prking, would you be up for it?

It depends what the preview is like? I don't really mind about the lack of an invite, was just exaggerating - but still haven't forgiven them for the outrageous lack of promised O2 sweets! ! (joke)
I just hope the changes go live very soon. I've not been posting as much as I used to (because of spam, trolls etc) ; so I hope the changes are a great success.

Re the spammers, is it possible to have the first post when someone joins approved by admin before new members are allowed to post.
I am a member of a caravan forum. I woke one morning to check the caravan forum, only to be confronted by pictures of very young girls in certain provocative situations :mansurprised:
I did report to admin and so did several other people. The caravan forum now has admin in different time zones, to stop spammers and porn.
Looking forward to the new forum :robotwink:

@cocacola
We have offered that and many other sensible suggestions.
Hopefully the new forum will be almost spam-proof if they take onboard just 50% of our proposals grin
