It's the start of another month and time to announce the community rewards! 

If you're not sure what the community rewards are, each month we reward members who have been extra helpful in the O2 community and helped keep it a fun place to be. 

We also asked the community to nominate a post or topic that you you felt made an awesome contribution to the community. This time around the nomination goes to @viridis's excellent Xperia XZ Premium hands off review. You can check out this interesting read here

Thanks guys I have all your PM's and will be responding shortly. 

@Cleoriff It doesn't get added together but a nomination will add a significant amount to the super secret calculation we use to work out the rewards. This usually has the effect of bumping members up a reward band. The nomination winner tends to fluctuate between gold and sliver and I believe it even made the platinum reward one month!

So without the nomination, I didn't get a reward. Ok understand now.
Tbh tho, I think you need to reevaluate that "calculation" if you think it's fair that some months the nomination is worth £25 boost, but others a £2.50 boost as it seems. It was very much explained to be something different at first.

@viridis you would have been in one of the lower bands but still rewarded if that makes sense?

@Martin-O2not wishing to speak on behalf of @viridis but the fact is this HAS changed from how it was initially. It was community reward PLUS nomination reward. So someone who would have got £2.50, £5.00, £10  or whatever community reward would have had the £10 added to it..

It never affects me...I am just wondering when it changed....??

I'm sure there will be time limit on claiming @Anonymous.

I also recall nominations being added to the reward, what if someone who was in the top band, say @MI5, was also nominated. Wouldn't they get any additional reward?

I'm only saying, doesn't effect me.

You are correct @Curr946. It wasn't a recollection on my part though. It actually happened to me on one occasion...and two other members who have been nominated + rewarded in the past....
