Hey Everyone,

This week is International Coffee Week! Coffee has been described as the life blood of the modern world and mornings just wouldn't be the same without a nice cup of strong hot coffee.

We still have several Caffè Nero vouchers left over from the Community Awards and the community team have just about managed to resist using them! dizzy

  Several cups of coffee

We thought it would be great to give the remaining vouchers away for coffee week. There are 8 x £10 Caffè Nero vouchers up for grabs and if you want a hot drink on us all you need to do is comment below letting us know what your favourite hot drink is and why you like it so much.

We will then do a raffle with all the members who commented early next week. wink

Good luck!!

It's strange, when my wife was alive I hated coffee but I started drinking coffee in hospital because NHS tea is naff and now I have coffee a couple of times a day just as a change from the gallons of tea I drink. Just flat white, no time for the frothy and the sprinkles of chocolate and whatnots.

Coffee, simple and unadulterated, except for a little milk, or "Kaffeesahne". 👍

Coffee - 2 sugars. Prefer white but would drink black at a push.
Tea - white no sugar.
Usually have 1 coffee a day in a travel mug on the way to work. Rest of the day is tea.

And for those who can't get what is in the photo below for their morning coffee, then a dollop of Carnation Evaporated Milk will do Fantastic

Can't stand coffee in any shape or form, though my sons and grandson love it.

So this week will continue to be very strong tea week for me joy

Oh yes I remember you mentioned strong tea before @Cleoriff . Do you still use 171 teabags in one mug to make it as strong as possible? sweat_smile

I normally have a few cups of black coffee  in the morning, and maybe a couple more towards the afternoon. It tends to get cold in the mug while I work, so it might look like I have 8 cups a day, when actually it's probably max 3 or 4. grin Sometimes I want something a little different so might add sugar and milk, or just milk. But never black coffee with sugar as that tastes wrong. grimacing

@Marjo

TWO teabags in a cup, three canderel sweetener tablets, Let them steep (brew) for a while, remove, add a dash of milk and drink. Delicious.

PS I have changed to caffeine free teabags now as the others were making me jumpy. joy
