Initial order placed online at 745am on 27/10 was cancelled by o2 at 9am ( i phoned at 8am to try to swap colour but never asked them to cancel order!). Then they told me to re place the order which i did over the phone. Tooks ages. Finally ordered iphone x space grey 64gb at 925am. My hopes of launch date were dashed ( website said  to 4 weeks ).

then i saw via my orders on my o2 it had been dispatched to store on 31/10 and just now a text saying i can collect tomorrow. Im shocked but sooo happy!
Looks like they might be prioritising orders made by phone ( or possibly because i raised a complaint ). Hope you get yours soon!

@Anonymous To spread the risk probably. Wouldnt want all my eggs / iphones in one courier basket. I guess there could be some geographical explanation as well, but I'd never trust one supplier with this. Even if it costs more the damage to reputation wouldnt be worth chancing a cheaper deal for giving one supplier all the business.

Dont think any "one" company could deal with the extra workload of an Iphone launch, plus their normal deliveries and keep to schedules.

Imagine how many phone calls, hits on their website they get from us lot !! i must have looked on DPD website about 30 times today !!!
