O2 will offer Apple’s latest products starting on 22nd September 2017, including the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus beginning 15th September at www.o2.co.uk/iphone, in store, voice and online, with iPhone X pre-order beginning Friday 27th October

Give the online chat a go guys, last time I checked they told me 4-5 weeks but I've just given it another try and got this! Ordered through O2 website, 27th October, confirmation email came through at 08:11AM

Even though on my confirmation email they aimed to have it by the 17th, on the website even though it still says 'In Progress', there is a dispatch date. Maybe I'll manage to have it tomorrow

I've just been told it's out of stock (go figure) in relation to my order.
Stayed up after my night shift to preorder but the website locked me out at the last hurdle (said my password and security answer were wrong - they weren't) so I wasn't able to confirm until the afternoon of the 27th.
The tariff is pretty terrible so I'm tempted to leave and look elsewhere. But with stock being so short haha... Also, I feel a weird sense of loyalty having been with them since the BT Cellnet days.
