Looks like the end is nigh! Like many of you have posted today, I ordered SG 256GB at 11.40 on 27th (click&collect upgrade). Got tariff change text at 2.44pm and myO2 says order complete with dispatch date today (23rd).

Good luck to those still waiting!

@Anonymous I would contact Customet Services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus to check what the actual position is.

I have ordered two phones with Customer Services over the phone. In both cases I had a contract and credit agreement emailed to me, the latter which I signed online.

Despite what information you have received from the chat page it sounds as if your order has not gone through. However you ordered your phone there would have been paperwork, either physical or electronic.

Also you may like to peruse the following thread to see what other customers have to say about the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X

Glad people are seeing movement but I’ve literally got fed up of waiting and being given the run around so I’ve cancelled my upgrade with o2 direct and just gone with Carphone Warehouse and will have my 256gb SG tomorrow! I’ve stayed with o2 but also got much better tariff deal through Carphone Warehouse so I’m very happy roll on tomorrow!

I did yesterday & all they said was it’s currently out of stock in hindsight I guess I should’ve asked when they’re expecting more stock in slight_smile

I purchased my upgrade today 23/11 at 1am was told my tariff would not change until the phone is coming. 2 to 3 days it said, but this afternoon I received a text to say my tariff has been changed but no update on device. Have they messed my tariff up?

@Anonymous you can ask but they may have no idea themselves. This happens every time Apple release a new iPhone. The regulars on this forum have seen it again and again.

It's a combination of 02 not keeping their customers informed and Apple not releasing sufficient stock to meet the demand they, must by now, know there will be.

Will o2 be supporting the iwatch series 3 (GPS + cellular) ? They keep releasing the same statement ‘they’re not supporting it from launch but are continuing to review their product range’. That doesn’t say they are or aren’t, it’s avoiding the question! I really don’t want to leave o2 after 10 years but I really want the iwatch 3 capability more so I may just have to jump to EE!

In my humble opinion you will be waiting a long time for O2. I know what I would do and I wouldn't be waiting.
