O2 will offer Apple’s latest products starting on 22nd September 2017, including the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus beginning 15th September at www.o2.co.uk/iphone, in store, voice and online, with iPhone X pre-order beginning Friday 27th October
We expect there will be many questions ranging from student discount, to unlocking, to yearly upgrades and everything in-between. See our extensive Q&A section immediately under this post, and let us know if there's anything missing you think we should mention there.
@NathanKenneford It does make sense that preorders are still going through as they all went out of stock within 2hrs or less. Then they had to wait for more stock from Apple.
It doesn’t mean that every single person that orders from now should wait for 6 weeks as it was the initial stock that was provided from Apple that was low.
O2 are catching up with the high demand now so eventually those that order will get theirs next day.
A phone won’t stay out of stock with such long delivery dates forever-just while it’s in demand.
I have had a tarrif change email yesterday and my order has changed to complete under my orders, with a dispatch date of the 21/11/17, however i have not received anything else since that time? I checked again this morning and noticed it has a DPD tracking number (which doesnt work might i add) not really sure whats going on? Few details below that may help

@Anonymous I'm still waiting on an update for that model on that date 😕
Nothing at all for me as yet, sadly...
@Mines a 256 Space Grey pre-order confirmed 27th Oct @ 9:32am - there is a guy on here (forget his name) who received his 256SG pre-order last Friday, his confirmed time of order on 27th was 9:30am.
