O2 will offer Apple’s latest products starting on 22nd September 2017, including the new generation iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus beginning 15th September at www.o2.co.uk/iphone, in store, voice and online, with iPhone X pre-order beginning Friday 27th October

I ordered a 64gb space grey st about 11:40am on the 27th and I’ve just got a text saying it’ll be delivered tomorrow, still have no order confirmation, only a screen shot of the order reference after check out completed

Sorry but why are people who ordered after the 27th receiving their phones before people that pre ordered on the day it went live? This is absolutely disgraceful from o2.

@NathanKenneford I think The 64GB is coming into stock quicker than the 256gb. I could be wrong though.

There was one year when I upgraded that the phone was out of stock, I was looking at 2-3weeks for delivery. At the time it was in my husbands name as he had the contract. I decided to get a contract of my own so ordered as a new customer. I got the phone in 3 days. 

I was livid but also a little sneaky. I contacted O2 about the upgrade (husbands contract) and was still told they were awaiting stock. When I told them that I made a new account and ordered the exact same phone and had it in my hand as we spoke they ‘just couldn’t believe it’ and offered no explanation as to how that happened. 

Clearly during that iPhone launch they wanted to please the new customers by getting their phones to them ASAP  rather than keeping the the current customers happy.  

Not saying that’s what has happened here but it was a massive fail on O2’s part.

Mine’s on its way. Ordered the iPhone X Silver 64g on Sunday 29th October at lunchtime and I got the dispatch email last night, then the text message notification of delivery this morning (coming between noon and 1pm). I’m an existing customer doing an upgrade.

My bill has appeared on the My o2 app as well as the website when I sign in, no indication of any airtime credit for the time I was waiting though.

Can’t believe I pre ordered an I phone x as I could have walked it too the store and upgraded today so frustrating still had no news on my order... what’s the point of pre ordering this is a joke...
