I would encourage those let down and left having to wait up to 6 weeks for their new handset to complain directly to O2 as a number of people trusted and followed their instructions when they advised their order system would go live at 08:01 when in fact their were people having orders accepted as early as 7am. It is because of this failure to communicate with their customers properly that has let so many of us down and left having to wait weeks and weeks. In fact there was no stock left of the 256gb space grey by 07:55 which I am absolutely disgusted about as I have let my contract which has expired roll over month on month awaiting this iPhone x, now I’m left having to pay another 2 months at least without a device. Not much annoys me but this dreadful communication from o2 has now left me possibly going to another network and cancelling my order, as the post above says Vodafone up to 2 week wait, o2 over 6 weeks because they let their system go live before the promised time. Angered and lost all faith in o2 after this morning, as I said I’m disgusted.

I ordered just before 8am the 64GB in Space Grey and the current status is 'Order in progress'. How did you get your expected delivery date?

Still saying 3 weeks for silver 64gb and 4 weeks on space grey and 256 gb both showing 6 weeks lets wait and see if the iphone 7 plus orders anything to go by they mistakenly put weeks instead of months, fingers crossed tho

Yeah its showing that if you pre-order now but does it not count that I ordered it before 8am? I was naively thinking if I got in there fast I could potentially receive it the next week or two?

Are you sure it's just vat? Have you looked for any other charges not covered by your allowances?

Not naieve at all, 1st come 1st served the problem though was that instead of o2 making the ordering system live at 08:01 like they said they made it live much earlier therefore some devices were already out of stock before 8am and most people that got in there around 7am will be the ones receiving their devices next week. The rest of us it’s a guessing game, I’m annoyed personally because last time I did this I waited close to 3 months.

It wasn't live at 0700. It was around 0730.
