Hi everyone,

I hope you're having a lovely day so far! slight_smile

We have some good news to share about My O2 today. If you're a Pay Monthly customer, you can now do the age verification on the web version of My O2.

This means that you can now age verify without the need to call Customer Service with a credit card or the need to go to an O2 retail store and produce your photo ID.

You can do this by logging in to My O2 on your browser. Select 'More' at the top of the page, and then 'Age Verification'.

That's brilliant @Marjo .

Could this be added to the existing guide here Guide: O2 Age restriction?

Excellent and not before time.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Yes that's a good idea @Cleoriff . @MI5 , I'm thinking we could just edit in your guide the "There are two three ways you can do this." and just add the My O2 method as the first point (as it's the easiest way if on PAYM), and the shop and credit card options could be number 2 and 3. slight_smile

Just tested with my ipad account, and noticed it sends the confirmation PIN to the mobile number registered as the master number...

I like that slight_smile

Wondered if there was any check to getting it turned off.
Good to hear it goes to the "master" number on the account (most likely the parent's one)!

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

@gmarkj

Just tested and it just says are you sure, but when you turn it back on it sends a code back to the master number.
